The Manistee Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Response Team (MDVSART) is a multi-disciplinary team whose purpose is to share knowledge, experience, and resources to address issues of domestic violence and sexual assault in our community. Additionally, the response team aims to:
Establish a space that allows for open discussion and problem solving on better serving survivors.
Improve perpetrator accountability.
Collaborate with local agencies and other community partners to plan training and outreach events that increases education, awareness, and prevention of DV & SA.
MDVSART MEMBERS
Our members include criminal justice officials, victim advocates, tribal and local government officials, representatives from non-profit organizations, medical providers, city and county human service agencies, and others including concerned citizens.
