MDVSART

WHO WE ARE

The Manistee Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Response Team (MDVSART) is a multi-disciplinary team whose purpose is to share knowledge, experience, and resources to address issues of domestic violence and sexual assault in our community. Additionally, the response team aims to:

  • Establish a space that allows for open discussion and problem solving on better serving survivors.

  • Improve perpetrator accountability.

  • Collaborate with local agencies and other community partners to plan training and outreach events that increases education, awareness, and prevention of DV & SA.

MDVSART MEMBERS

Our members include criminal justice officials, victim advocates, tribal and local government officials, representatives from non-profit organizations, medical providers, city and county human service agencies, and others including concerned citizens.

MEETING INFORMATION

Schedule: 2:00 – 3:00 the 2nd Monday of every other month beginning with January.

Meeting Location: Little River Band of Ottawa Indians Victim Services Program | 2840 Orchard Hwy., Suite D, Manistee, MI
